I saw it on reddit and I think it's Rogers giving a personal opinion of 50-50 not any source indicating that

haha the Cubs got the Cardinals to lose 2 home games instead of 1 and 1

That was my first reaction as well.

I wouldn't be surprised if they have both teams wear white again, although I don't know if they consider the Cubs' pinstripes 'worthy' of that as they are doing with the Yankees this year.

Wow, Rizzo’s at .299/.407/.599 with a 14% K rate and 16 HRs

Great stuff. The only thing that concerns me about Rizzo is that he notoriously can get into megaslumps. What will the Cubs offense look like if/when that happens this year? Maybe it won’t

This year the role of Anthony Rizzo: Megaslumper will be played by Kris Bryant.

The way that there's been absolutely zilch about this in the Chicago press - not really even speculation - makes me think that this is something that connected people know about but aren't talking about, out of deference to Zobrist.

I really hope it's not something horrible, but I'm kind of afraid it is.

I hear he slept with Sandberg's wife

I heard they both did.

Is there nothing to do about this trash offense? It’s unacceptably bad.

dont worry, theo is already working on new urgency slogans for next march

6th in the majors in wRC, 4th in wOBA, 3rd in OBP. I can't even imagine the outrage among the other 83% of the league that has been worse than us this year.

Decent, but his strike out and groundball rates are still pretty disappointing given what he's done in the past. Promising, to be sure, but it's not like he's back to his old self.

It is different, but in a good way. That FIP would be a career best, xFIP second only to his 36 IP in 2016. Yeah there aren't as many GB or K's, but the walks vanishing entirely more than makes up for it, plus HR rate back to career norms.

I think those are fine numbers for what is now our 4th to 6th best relief pitcher. It’s very encouraging.
