I would hate strop if he was on the Cards. As it is, I want him to pump fists all the time.

I'd hate all these guys if they were on the Cardinals. Maybe respectful admiration for Rizzo. Thats it though.

 

Generally speaking though I think Strop is a good answer for general hate if he wasn't on your team.

 

I can't see how any human being could hate Bryant. Just goes out and does his job, and you get lost in his eyes.

 

Also if you like baseball, and therefore dongs, how can you hate Schwarber. He bat flips, but if someone hit it 700 feet against us, I'd accept a bat flip.

brian anderson sucks, but i liked his call on the final out. there was excitement in his voice that matched the moment.

Yeah, he was horrible for most of the series but that was a pretty damn good call at the end.

i can definitely see lester being the least likable but i don't hate him. i usually only hate shitty players though.

Anderson is usually a really good PBP guy but he overdid it with the excitement at certain times in this series - kinda like Matt Vasgersian. He's better than Ernie Johnson who we're gonna get for the NLCS. :( Edited by Rondon Fan

I don't want to sound pretentious but some casual fans don't understand how amazing it is watching these young kids produce in the playoffs. Checking minor league boxscores for the past few years on this very site dreaming of this day and now it's happening. BTW, Javy has a 0% strikeout rate in the playoffs.

But he loved Baez when he was awful. He's programmed for madness.

 

2 months of awful for a 21 year old rookie with a great minor league track record is a lot different from sucking donkey nuts for the better part of 3 years for an experienced major leaguer.

 

(and, to steal a kyle-ism, this is not me spiking the football on baez in any way whatsoever)

Well I think a lot of the old posters left. People here became assholes and some of the best guys left. There are still some good folks here but frankly I rarely ever post anything here anymore because of the way things have gone here. It's sad I used to love these boards. Mostly I come here for Ct, Tiger and Raisin and how great the minor league forums are/have been. Outside of that I mainly just lurk these days and I've been around since the beginning. This series was incredible and one I'll never forget. I think we are going to get much deeper before it's over and maybe we win it all.
