Yep, the same reason we want to trade down is the reason teams won't want to trade up.

 

The only thing that could make 7 desirable for a trade up would be if a QB is available (say Connor Cook changes his mind and turns pro, Brett Hundley jumps up boards with good workouts or Jameis Winston is available at 7 and teams aren't scared of him).

I assume that McCaskeys hasn't been that hands-on with decisions before. It could mean that he's also going to do the interviews and decide who to hire as well? Is it news worthy? I'm not sure.
