I don't know. Javy's K is just such a constant concern that I'm terrified he's going to flame out. I'm almost definitely overreacting, but I'm ready for one of his trademark extended stretches of dominance. I know he went on a tear toward the end of May, but he's hitting .208 with 19 Ks in 59 PAs in June. I know he's really young for AAA and he's historically a slow starter when he is promoted a level, but I can't help but have Mike Olt/Brett Jackson PTSD. I'm more than willing to be talked off the ledge on him. Someone convince me that he's going to be Mike Stanton at SS, because that's so much more fun.

Alcantara and Schwarber are only that high for me due to my Javy fears and Soler's inability to stay on the field.

I just think its silly to drop him so much for 2.5 months of mostly mediocre play. He still dominated a pitching dominated league as one of the youngest kids at the level. Sometimes prospects go through rough stretches in the development process. I still believe Javy has the highest upside in the organization especially when you consider position. Yes his floor is much lower than Bryants, but not low enough to boot him below a player like Alcantara. He should be number 2.

Where would Paniagua and Tseng fit in our prospect rankings?

Tseng is just outside the top 5 for me. Best pitching prospect in the system.

Paniagua is probably still in the 20s for me but the past few starts have been big. Given his age, it might be time for him to head to Daytona.

I'd go something like

1 Bryant

2 Baez

3 Alcantara

4 Soler

5 Schwarber

6 Edwards

7 Tseng

8 Johnson

9 Almora

10 Not 100% sure (Hendricks? Zastryzny? Rivero? Vizcaino? Ramirez still technically eligible? Blackburn?)

Maybe swap Alcantara and Soler, they're real close.

Ramirez is no longer eligible unless you're silly like BA and don't believe in service time.

Baez

Soler

Schwarber

Alcantara

Almora

Rivero

Tseng

Johnson

Bruno

This is my list only with Rivero at 9 and everyone in between moving up a spot.

Maybe Vizcaino at 10.

I have Tseng at 9 and Paniagua at 24 right now, though Paniagua could skyrocket if this current trend keeps up another month.

What's your current top 10?

Tennessee is going to be a wasteland until Soler, Johnson, and Edwards come back. It's Bruno, Black, and roster fill. I guess Cervanka or however you spell his name is starting to seem legit.

1-9 is the same for me, like you and others have said 10 to like early 20s is a cluster. I think I'd put Hendricks or Jimenez at 10.

Is it a possibility that Paniagua sticks as a starter or has that ship sailed?

It's a possibility now that he's actually in the country and pitching well. But he needs to move quickly.

this is about how i see it, but i probably swap in Hendricks for Arodys, and maybe even move him up a few spots, too

Shoulders (grand slam) and Amaya hit back-to-back HRs.

Ben Wells, jeez.

Can't imagine him being in the organization much longer.

I tend to agree with that, which is disappointing as he was an intriguing asset as recently as 2 years ago. I'm actually fairly curious what went wrong this year for him - the strikeouts went back up, but the walks blew sky high to ridiculous levels. Considering I had heard in previous years he was working on harnessing his 2-seamer (that is, throw it at a lower velo but get more command), my initial thought is that maybe he got worried about strikeouts and started over-throwing things. Still ... those are some ridiculous walk numbers, even for 22 innings, so it feels like it's more than just over-throwing. The breaking ball never did develop.

It's easy to forget in 2012, prior to being shut down, he had a fascinating and exciting start to the year in Low A. Shame.

Lost in the Bryant/Schwarber/Rivero/Vizcaino promotion talk, Kane County 3B Jordan Hankins was promoted to Daytona.

Not sure what that means for Jeimer.

Amaya is now a triple shy of the cycle. In the 4th inning.

My top 11 is

KB

Baez

Alcantara

Schwarber

Soler

Almora

Edwards

Tseng

Pierce Johnson

Torres

Hendricks

With 12-20 being some combo of Vizcaino, Rivero, Sands, Vogelbach, Eloy, Bruno, Candelario, Paniagua, Black

I've always liked Paniagua
