#Bears looking to add a blocking tight end, Steve Maneri on team's radar.

 

I hate blocking tight ends. Everytime they target one they end up with a guy who isn't that good at blocking.

They probably never should have gone after Spaeth in the first place.

 

Well ok, but he was still one of the better blocking TE's per PFF, iirc.

They will probably be able to save over 1mil going from Spaeth to a guy like Maneri. Of course I don't see the point as Bennett can block and he was on the field 91% Of the plays for NYG.

Maybe that's exactly why you try to save a million on a blocking backup TE then. You don't figure you'll use him anyway.

the more i hear, the more i think urlacher should by no means get more than 3 million per. maueluga is very bad but he's not injured and old.

Shwartz looks like he did fart and Fisher just got a whiff of it. Coughlin is wondering how long this [expletive] is going to take. And John Harbaugh has the "I got a ring mother [expletive] look on his face". Tomlin is saying, "get me away from all these damn white people"
