I may just have to amend my Rebels W-L chart from a L on the A&M game to a W. If AJ Green got 4 games for one jersey... Eh, they won't touch JFF. Who am I kidding?

Jay Bilas is posting a stream of Tweets pointing out that the NCAA's official online shop directs you to certain jerseys for sale if you type in names like "Clowney", "Manziel", "Tajh Boyd", "Teddy Bridgewater", etc. So that's not a good thing.

It pretty much works with anybody who's played in the last couple of seasons, even crappy players from crappy Iowa.

@KegsnEggs: [Types in "Iowa running back" to NCAA Shop] [waits for results] [computer explodes]

If you go to shopncaasports.com now, it looks like the search feature has been disabled. My god the NCAA looks just terrible in all of this. What a pathetic organization.

ESPN has connected three autograph brokers to Manziel. The first, Drew Tieman, is based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and allegedly met with Manziel the day before the BCS title game to purchase autographs. The identities of the second, who is based in Alabama and claims to have met with Manziel the night before the Texas A&M vs. Alabama game in November, and the third are not known.

I find the bit about one of the brokers being from Alabama to be a bit humorous. JFF should have been wary of anyone with nefarious attentions hailing from Alabama.

texas am just got peter principled on a massive stage - check

I admit I had to google Peter Principle.

Your statement is so freaking true.

I find it odd that you had to google Peter Principle, but I have no idea how it applies here.

Because A&M is in over their heads at this point. At least that's how I understood it.

I'm not sure if you know this Old Style, but there's a strong correlation to the quantity of your posts about aTm and how much posters on this board want terrible things to happen to aTm.

Sorry, I must've confused you with the other aTm fan who was here defending aTm by pointing out potential holes in the case against Manziel by analyzing the interior design of the hotel room and inspecting the blurry photograph to determine what game it was. That guy clearly has a weird need to defend aTm as if he got validation from how much everyone else appreciated and understood them.

You say that as if that matters to me.

normally people do care that they're embarrassing themselves, even if said embarrassment does come via the relative anonymity of the internet.

So everyone who defends their school or players on here wants to be loved by the other posters?

No, you just clearly care very, very, very much about what people think of your school (to an almost obsessive degree), even as you profess not to care at all.

Say anything even the slightest bit that is unflattering to A&M and Old Style bursts into the discussion, foaming at the mouth, guns blazing, doing whatever intellectual contortions he has to to defend or rationalize away. This, of course, makes people want to hate on A&M more, which clearly bugs the [expletive] out of you. That you say you don't care just makes it funny.

There's defending your school, and there's being the one man A&M Homer Defense Force.

Since I'm the only A&M fan on NSBB that pretty much relegates me to "one man A&M Homer Defense Force" in the eyes of posters here.

And to clarify, I meant that I don't really care what posters here think of ME. People are going to hate A&M and wish bad things upon us because our QB has acted like a spoiled rich kid this offseason. To blame that on me is laughable.

I find the notion that you care more about what people think of your school's football program than what they think of you absolutely fascinating. I mean it's hardly a unique phenomenon (most common among soccer hooligans and southerners), but it's just so bizarre.

1. Why would I care what anonymous internet jackasses think of me? Do you take this place that seriously that you are concerned how other posters view you?

2. I am not a southerner. I was born & raised in the Chicago suburbs.
