I don't think this should amount to much, just thought it was interesting. I was at the game and saw the reaction by Hulls, but no replay was ever shown on the scoreboard. I knew they were checking to see if it was a 3 point shot. Nothing else was made of it from what I saw. I would assume if Hulls thought he was hit on purpose him and or Crean would have made a bigger deal of it.

Just want to make it CLEAR that i did not purposely punch Hulls in the face, my arm was pushed causing the incident.

 

Looks to me like Watford pushes Robinson's arm.

Looks to me like his arm was tangled up with Watford and he was trying to get it free and Hulls happened to be standing right there. No way that was on purpose. Robinson had no way of knowing Hulls was even there until Robinson was pulling and turning away from Watford.

He's been embracing the hero ball the last few nights. Maybe I watch the NBA too much but I don't mind that shot at the end of a tied game as long as its taken with no time left. Minimizes the chance for turnovers and Burke can and has hit that shot on several occasions. Low percentage shot but the downside is OT.

I don't think he's that bad. On another forum Michigan fans were railing on him for being anti-Michigan in both games but I didn't see that at all. He was hyping up Michigan just as much as he was Indiana and Ohio St.

I have less of a problem with the body contact on the way to the hoop than I do with the absolute mugging that happened when he tried to shoot. That was awful and should have been called, even if it would have been against the home team in a B10 game.

Oh well, I consider it a makeup call. No not for the uncalled flagrant the play before. For the missed shot clock violation that instead turned into a 3 pointer for Ohio State. The ball was still clearly in Crafts hands when the shot clock was at 0.

I'm the opposite. I can tune out Vitale. I know he's just yelling about how great something/someone is, he's having fun, he's happy, whatever. He's harmless.

 

Knight is bitter, angry and dumb. He does no prep work whatsoever. He doesn't even use names, it's just "the big kid" and "the guards". He always says something really absurd that I get fixated on and way too worked up about. Or he can't figure out what the shot clock is and why it's on the same display as the game clock.

Yeah, he's terrible. He raves about gritty white guys all game. Thinks dunks and fancy passes are a careless risk. And he still thinks you win by getting guys who fit in your system.

 

The last IU game he did, he talked about how Hulls was a great kid and really knew how to play basketball. And the rest of the time he opened his mouth he talked about how great shot fakes are. Any time anyone had a shot defended it was because they didn't shot fake. And if they made a shot it's because they shot faked with their eyes or something.
