Maybe Weber can pull a Zook and lose every game after the Ohio State upset and give the new AD the easy excuse to can him well.

Maybe two wins left. Northwestern and Iowa. Maybe.

No idea what will happen in this Iowa/IU game. Fran is shaking up the starting lineup, putting Cartwright in at point (which moves Marble to the wing in May's spot) and White for Basabe. So essentially it means we have a 6'7 inside/out 4 man as our "center" who would guard Zeller in man.

 

It's a much better offensive lineup but could get absolutely shredded defensively. Hopefully it lights some kind of fire under Basabe's ass to wake him up.

ND goes to UConn and wins. 6-3, tournament bid now apparently more likely than not especially with home dates with Rutgers, DePaul and Providence left on the slate. Absolutely incredible considering the talent level of this roster.

What's with the scheduling that has Purdue playing Saturday and then sitting for a week while IU plays Iowa today and at Michigan on Wednesday before Purdue hosts IU at Mackey?

We scored 89 points and lost by 14. We scored 1.23 points per possession and weren't in the game. We shot 67% from 2 and 53% from 3 for a 70.4% eFG. They got 57% of their misses.

 

Never seen anything like that.

Iowa shot 80% in the second half and only outscored IU by 3. In the last 27:30, Iowa only got back-to-back stops on two occasions.

Hopefully, IU doesn't take that they scored 103 points away from this game, rather than the fact they gave up 89. Won't get 15 dunks against anyone else in America.

No one from Iowa had more than 3 rebounds. No one had more than 2 defensive rebounds. Of the 3 guys who got more than 1 defensive board, two were guards.
