No one from Iowa had more than 3 rebounds. No one had more than 2 defensive rebounds. Of the 3 guys who got more than 1 defensive board, two were guards.

Didn't watch the game but looked at the box score. Hopefully Woodbury can rebound. Sucks to see offensive number like they had in a loss.

Dave Kaplan, why must you be the color guy for MVC TV games? The basketball is already ugly, and you don't make it any better.

That's the only thing of color that @thekapman wants anything to do with...

In honor of it being PU/IU week I would like to point out that no player on the current IU basketball roster has ever beaten Purdue.

Whoa! NEWSFLASH! IU just beat Iowa for the first time since Feb 2008, and they've finished bottom 3 in the conference that year and every year since. Hell, IU only has multiple wins in conference vs. Michigan, Penn St, Iowa, and Minnesota over the last 4 years. Of course, no IU player had ever beaten Kentucky, Ohio St, or anyone in the B1G/ACC challenge.

Meaningless and nitpicky but IU beat Iowa in 2009.

That's what I meant. I typed it wrong. I knew it was the 08-09 season, when Verdell and crew were freshmen.

Sure has been a fun 4 years.

Which is why I think the IU/Crean "road woes" are way overblown. Of course IU has hardly won on the road . . . they barely won any games at home.

Win, singular, not wins. Crean hasn't won more than one B1G game on the road in any season so he doesn't deserve that extra 's' yet.

Is your student section going to have to distribute flyers reminding them not to storm the court if you beat Purdue in Bloomington later this year?

I just want to make sure everyone sees this.

First, I have no idea who you are talking to regarding the "extras 's'" comment. Unless you read "woes" as "wins."

I love how the court-storming has become the de rigueur insult about IU fans. Like other fans never do this. Like Purdue fans never do this.

Err. . . nevermind. (After a five-point win over No. 11 Wisconsin in 2008.)

I blame the Paint Crew, they should've should've put warnings in the program not to storm the court...

Honestly, they probably should. Such warnings should probably exist in every stadium's programs that might be read by students. Storming the court is not desirable; while I'm not sure it has yet, it is certainly an injury waiting to happen (either to player or fan). It's also often silly (certainly, IU storming the court against Minnesota was silly).

Calbert Cheaney has beaten Purdue. Even though he isn't on the roster, he sits on the bench so I say he counts too. Or something like that. :P

Robbie Hummel.

It just isn't the same without Da Bum. :?

To be fair.... Robbie Hummel is the only player on Purdue's roster that has lost to IU. That should make you guys feel better. :D
