  1. Nah he lost his sophomore year. Actually, Hummel sat out that game when he had his back problems I believe. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/boxscore?gameId=290390356 So who do the Illini go after? I've seen names like Shaka Smart and Anthony Grant thrown out, what other enticing candidates are out there? Gregg Marshall is compelling, but hasn't won enough at Wichita State to merit a jump to a high major like Illinois.
  2. Are you high? Who the [expletive] cares about league pride this much? Holy [expletive] this is a [expletive] bizarre statement. Probably because I'm posting in the thread. FTR, I wanted the Rangers to win. So you have two accounts? =D>

  4. But, but, this "good" world series worthy team. Clutch. That ball 4 call was clutch. http://www.brooksbaseball.net/pfxVB/cache/numlocation.php-pitchSel=444857&game=gid_2011_10_28_texmlb_slnmlb_1&batterX=46&innings=yyyyyyyyy&sp_type=1&s_type=3.gif
  5. David Freese now has the most postseason RBI ever with 21. Craig had 1 opposite field HR all season, he's had 2 in the playoffs.
  6. Steve Bartman was my assistant coach on the Niles Renegades back when I was 13 in 2003. Didn't see game 6 so I was absolutely stunned when I saw him at the end of a segment on Sportscenter later that night. I remember going to his house the next day with the rest of my teammates to offer support for him. Haven't seen him since, and I always wanted to know how he was doing and where he was living. Even teared up during the documentary a couple of times just because of the way Gibney portrayed his situation. Have to say I'm surprised to see he's still in Chicago. Hope he's doing alright.
  7. True, but to be fair, he has had some terrible luck go his way too (Dunn, Peavy, Rios)
  8. And he promptly benches Hanley Ramirez, who was late getting to the ballpark. http://blogs.palmbeachpost.com/marlins/2011/06/20/jack-mckeons-first-move-in-his-return-as-marlins-manager-bench-late-arriving-hanley-ramirez/
  9. Yeah, well, the Sox have human debris like Pierre and Vizquel going 1-2 so I'd rethink that one.
  10. Robertson's making things interesting.
  11. BABIP has definitely been on his side tonight
  12. I've been thinking that also, but he did walk ahead of Pena's HR earlier.
