The NIT championship was underachieving for the talent that team had, but I imagine it would be nice to have a football team that scores 60 points a game. Seriously [expletive] this guy. It's a tough spiral for you to get out of. Luckily when we were in the same position several years ago hired the right guy the second time around. I won't pretend to tell you that I hope get out of it though. Michael Finke would have been a great class for Iowa. I'd have taken him, but I'm sure he wanted to go somewhere he could get a lot of early playing time.

Yep, that's always the first thing that pops in my head. Sort-of related, I feel like a good way to test if you're dealing with a Cubs' die-hard (presuming they're old enough to have seen it) is to ask if they know who the three players in that rundown were. Random thing that only lunatics like us remember, I'm sure. I'm willing to bet there aren't more than 3 people who remember that.
