  1. Not a very Christ-like thing to be gloating about. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51%2B14bonH2L.jpg Gloating? I'm not, I'm just suggesting both cities suck at crime rate and overall crappiness. Shoot, that all cities in general. There's always psychos to be found.
  2. How many people died from GSW's in Chicago on July 4th?
  3. Military guys are the worst, aren't they?
  4. This is a prime time for the Cubs to gain ground. The Cards haven't been scoring at all and I'm not optimistic they will start on this roadtrip. As a Cardinals fan, I'll be happy with a split in both this series and the 4 gamer in Pittsburgh.
  5. Nothing in the game thread is intended to be taken seriously (I don't think) Haha. Ok, good to know.
  6. http://media.giphy.com/media/p689SMtXLRrH2/giphy.gif 1. Nice Reference 2. Doesn't it seem odd to call internet trolls sadist and psychopaths and then constantly wish death upon others?
  7. Indeed. He did a dumb thing and killed someone in the process. His name shouldn't be mentioned as if he's a victim.
  8. I liked Maddon's answer to the starting pitcher question better than Matheny's.
  9. 50-24* Why are you here? Good active game thread.
  10. 50-24* This was a bad post. Try not to make more of these. Thanks for the fair warning.
  11. He's been a power guy over his career. I think he hit 30 bombs last year at AAA. He made an effort this year to cut down and try and raise his average some.
  12. It seems like most pro athletes end up at least being superficially pretty conservative/religious. Meh. Not so much. His dad is the pastor at my church. How does "not so much" possibly make any kind of sense to what I said. It isn't the fact that he's a pro-athlete that made him a conservative Christian.

  14. Eh; too old and the recent injury history makes me not a fan. Plus it seems like they'll be bringing Baez up as soon as they can. I'm still not all that optimistic about him, but it sure seems like he's who the organization is banking on replacing Castro. Plus he grew up a big Cardinal fan. So what? Well, he's one of us back road conservative Christians. Can't imagine anyone would someone like to play for the Cubs.
