Because I wasn't expecting such a dumb rule to determine the outcome of the game.

I think the Bears drop this one, 20 - 17.

 

The Bears are not a dominant team and are due for a correction, especially likely since they are on the road this week with a possible letdown factor in play.

 

The Giants aren't great either but I think they're slightly better than what they've shown. Add the desperation factor and home field....I think they get it done tonight.

 

A 3-1 start for a much-maligned team is still a great beginning and the Bears will remain in the hunt for the division crown with the Packers looking tepid and the Vikes milling around between good & shaky outings.

I feel like this is a trap game. On the road, short week against a team that was supposed to be competitive with its back against the wall at 1-2. I think we should have the edge, but it wouldn't surprise me at all for this to be the game we lose before the halfway mark.

 

Feeling the same way. 2 very emotional wins the last 2. 3 really when you think about Week 1 being the opener and a dramatic finish. This definitely could be a letdown game, especially on a short week.

 

That being said, the Giants are not a good team. The Bears should win this game, they are the better team. But I have a feeling they won't.

I'm fairly certain a prime time game in New York will keep the Bears focused on the task at hand. I'd be more worried about a letdown against Carolina next week, not tonight.

My final pregame prediction tends to lean for Giants, but I believe this is a really winnable game. The way the NFL is, it really just makes sense that the Giants win this. Then again, everytime you think you've figured out the NFL it surprises you.
