Also, I saw this today and thought it was interesting. Can anyone guess how many Bears currently on the 53 man roster, were also on the roster in 2006?

hamstring injury. i think when he comes back, they should leave shaffer at rt and have omiyale be the swing tackle.

I read from Biggs today that they'll put Omiyale back at RT. But I would think they'll have a short leash knowing what Omiyale is able to do.

Hey cool it's jersey here to tell me I'm not a real fan again.

Given that both subjects were addressed repeatedly and you regularly read and post in threads about the goings on with the Bears, I just don't understand those statements.

I didn't recall reading anything about Chris Williams not playing prior to the game, just Devin A. and Harris. And if they mentioned it during the pregame or game I missed it because the crappy bar I was at didn't have the volume up enough.

NYG were 3 point favorites before the MNF game, but it's off the board now.

Any updates here? ESPN's poll has the Giants as 3.5 point favs.

Giants by 4.

That's not the actual opening line, is it? If so, that surprises me. Home game or not, the Giants have looked awful lately. And Eli doesn't even need that much pressure on him to look bad. Which is good for us.

I have no idea who Rod Wilson is.

No idea who Rod Wilson is and no idea why Chris Williams wasn't starting. weird

I thought the part about Williams was incredibly weird too.

He left last game with an injury and they talked all week about Omayale going to LT. It wasn't a gametime decision.

I saw 3*, off-line, and when I looked again it was 4, so I guess that's the opening line.

No one mentioned Chris Williams being out in the thread prior to kickoff and I don't read the Chicago papers so it's all your guys fault.

He left on the first series of the Dallas game. Didn't play but a couple of snaps that game. It was pretty widely understood he was out, so it wasn't really pregame news.

FO's numbers this week have Cutler dropped to the 9th most effective QB in the NFL through 3 weeks (15th this past week). Knox is a top 10 receiver by DYAR and DVOA, and even Olsen is rising to the middle of the pack among TEs. Hester is average at WR, and Forte is the least effective rushing RB in the league and the most effective receiving RB in the league.

As lines go, the offensive line is 28th against the run and 26th against the pass, and no other line is as bad at both as the Bears. D-line is 1st against the run and 28th against the pass due mostly to the lack of D-line sacks.

Team totals haven't been posted yet, but I don't see them reflecting favorably on the Bears' performance offensively or on pass defense this week. Special teams should be high, though.
