Another nooner. This time Chicago is an 8.5 point dog, which is more ridiculous than last week when they were 6.5 point favorites. Dallas has been one of the most overrated franchises of the decade and they are coached by one of the few guys who may be dumber than Lovie Smith. The Bears got lucky they didn't lose last week, but Detroit was probably lucky they weren't blown out. This game has been penciled in as a loss on just about every iteration of how the season plays out, so a win here would go a very long way toward making the higher end predictions a possibility.

I'm really hoping the Cowboys are looking at the Bears as a free win.

i found a great bears/cubs bar in brooklyn last sunday...the girls inside weren't too bad looking, either...made a good distraction to the bufoonery that was in prime display on the field.

Gonna have to find a place to watch this one in Boston. Any suggestions? Don't know the city, so I can't say where I'm staying other than it's downtown.

i hope they lose by 100.

Who? Bears or Cowboys?

Bears, obviously.

Misplaced rage: the Bears didn't invent the completed catch rule.

But the Bears did triple the Lions number of total yards, so I can kinda understand some dislike.

Here's an unofficial look at the schedules for future seasons: http://www.johnnyroadtrip.com/schedules/nfl_future_nfcn.htm

According to this we will be playing the NFC East on the road the next 2 seasons. Can that be right? Would we really play at Dallas three straight seasons?

By the way, I can see Jerryworld from right around the corner from my house and I will not be attending the game. I have ne desire to be around that many obnoxious Cowboys fans.

Whenever it says something like NFC East, that is the game that won't be determined until after the season. The Bears will play the NFC East team that finishes in the same spot in the division as them at their place. If that happens to be Dallas both years, then yes the Bears would play them 3 years straight on the road. But it also could be any of the other 3 teams.

True. I'm assuming his comment is all about losing the game on that almost-catch though. But I could be wrong.

Don't worry sneaky....according to Roy Williams you were really close to putting up 40 points on us the other day.

Did you see the video on the last page of last weeks game thread? Yesterday was payback for 2004, so we're even.

Edit: Go blue

Boooooo!

ESPN's Matt Mosley wrote Tuesday morning he's getting "strong indications" starting guard Kyle Kosier and right tackle Marc Colombo will return to the lineup this week.

They will probably push them back even if they aren't ready after the crap that went on last week.

Can't wait to waste our former draft pick again...
