To me, the NFC games are largely toss-ups, while anything but Colts-Chargers would be a huge upset in the AFC. Which means it'll probably be Saints-Vikings-Ravens-Jets.

I'm going to go with Cardinals-Vikings-Colts-Chargers, though.

^^ One of the most fascinating careers in NFL history. To think the Bears could have had him at one point before he was rejuvenated in Arizona.

That's what happens when you insist on making a proven NFL QB compete with a bunch of no-names.

The proven NFL QB says, "thanks but no thanks" and goes on to blow up the league.

Yet another one of Angelo's brilliant moves.

I am not at all convinced that Warner would have resurrected his career in Chicago. He was looking like a washed up player nearing the end in NY. Chicago, which has an even worse track record of making an offense work and has worse weather. would have been worse. Warner is in the desert, playing weak divisional competition in mostly stable weather conditions with an offensive coach and loads of weapons. He would have had none of that in Chicago. His return to glory has been amazing, as is his playoff record, but he owes part of that to the decision to stay away from Chicago and go to Arizona.

You realize what you're saying doesn't bode well for Cutler. Not that I disagree, but it goes to what I've been suspecting all along: the Bears could have a great QB and never realize it because they are so incompetent with all things offense. If Warner could have come here and failed, looking at how great he is with Arizona, then so could Jay.

It is a......concern....that I have.

It is a concern, but they are very different cases. Cutler succeeded in Denver. Warner has had all his success in domed STL and desert/domed Arizona. He struggled in NY, and he's an old man. The Bears can screw up Cutler, there's no doubt, but there's absolutely no reason why they can't make it work.

Cutler threw for 3600 yards and 27 TDs this year. He completed over 60% of his passes. Other than the INTs, he had the type of year that a QB who is at risk of getting "screwed up" doesn't have. Cutler is already beyond the point of being screwed up. He is good enough already. The question remains if he can be great with the Bears, because he has everything personally that it takes to be a top 5 QB in the league.....and that's in spite of the INTs, he just needs the help around him. Whether that's offensive coordinator, OLine or WRs.

I'm nervous about the Cowboys Vikings game, but I think our defense can hold them to under 23 points. We held the Saints to 17, the Eagles to 0 and 14, and the Chargers to 20. Unless they pick up an easy score or two from turn-overs, I think our defense will hold them in check.

That being said, it's going to be imperative that our offense move the ball on drives and keep the Vikings offense off the field. Also, the Cowboys cannot kill drives with silly penalties or leave points on the field. I'm picking it Cowboys 24, Vikings 17...but I'm very nervous.

Between Peterson and Favre I am hoping we will win the turnover battle.

Other than the INTs is kind of a tough thing to look past. I don't think he's beyond the point of being susceptible to incompetent coaching ruining his career.

Anyways, getting back to the topic at hand, if his defense holds up Warner is guaranteed to not have to play a game outdoors until the Super Bowl if they can keep winning, assumming you consider Dallas a dome. 4 dome teams left in the NFC.

The Saints D will be healthy and should be able to step up. They stopped Brady and Welker/Moss cold in their tracks, I think they can do it against Warner and company. And even if they don't, I trust the Saints offense to be able to win a shootout, especially judging by how "well" the Cardinals DB's were covering Green Bay's WR's most of the game i.e. not at all.

Every single NFC playoff game this year will be indoors. Crazy.

Minnesota.-They have yet to lose in the dome and I don't think anyone is beating them there.

Colts-Them not playing the last two weeks is overblown and I'm not as impressed by the Ravens as a lot of people are

Chargers-I think they are the best team in the NFL right now.

Cardinals-I have a tough time taking a team that has looked bad lately against a red hot Kurt Warner. Especially when the Saints have a very suspect defense.

Did you know that every NFL team has a Smith, Jones or Williams on their roster EXCEPT the Colts and Cardinals? I think I just made my Super Bowl pick.

Kurt Warner, Hall of Famer?

Absolutely

He definitely is. He has been blessed with unbelievable talent around him, but two MVPs, a bunch of Super Bowl appearances, and he holds a number of the top passing records in the playoffs.
