Has Toeaina even seen the field?

He did at the end of 07 when we were really think at DT and were already eliminated from the playoffs. I think he also made it in a game last year.

Would it be a shocker if the Vikings came out of nowhere and got TO? People are saying they expect TO to be had for as little as a 5th round pick, and if that's the case, the Vikings, due to having a 40 year old starting QB are likely to be making a run this year and wouldn't be concerned with giving up a 5th for a potentially dynamic WR (and while TO is definitely not close to the TO of 3-4 years ago, playing in the dome with a QB that has a gun, with his size he still causes matchup problems). It would also be ensuring the Bears don't get TO.

I am not really for getting TO, but if only cost a 5th, and it would keep him away from Minnesota, I'd consider it.

Hub Arkush is still bitter towards the Bears. His praises for them are usually through gritted teeth when they do happen. I ignore a lot of Bears/NFL analysts, and Hub Arkush is at the top of that list.

He's very quick to point out Bear weaknesses, but then when someone calls him on it he gets really defensive.

I hate that the other guy (was that Zaidman) basically serves as his brown nose, agreeing with everything he says.

It's a really bad segment/show.

I like Zaidman when he does a little 10 min Bears report during one of the other Score shows...he's good in that role. But he's a terrible host.

I view this as a pretty pretty important game when it comes to making the playoffs. Im getting very excited about this AND that its on sunday night. Planning on drinking quite a bit of beers. Im getting pumped for the game. The Michigan game on saturday is eh, so im saving my energy for sunday night.

Hub's argument against Knox last night was "he's still a rookie from Abilene Christian."

Come on. That's just plain old lazy.

I don't know what he was saying, but the Knox love has gone a little overboard.

Almost no chance.

The Vikings WR coach was one of his coaches in San Francisco and has a good relationship with him. But Childress and he had major blowups in Philly. His job is on the line this year and they think they have a Super Bowl type team.

I can't possibly imagine them taking that risk for what Owens is now. They have Berrian on the one side finally getting healthy. Favre and Sidney Rice have really worked well and he's a 23 year old, 2nd round pick. They're absolutely in love with Harvin in the slot. And their only punt returners are the 4th/5th WR.

No one's saying he's the second coming, but he's stepped in quite nicely and has shown he can be a factor catching the ball and on returns. What's not to like.

Yes, he's shown he can be a factor. But he's a tiny WR with limited abilities, and some people are overstating how good he's been.

How does he have limited abilities? Fastest player on the team, shown good hands so far, has shown he's can make a play in the open field. If you are saying his ability is limited because he doesn't project to be a #1. But then you could say the same about Hester and Bennett.

He's not going to win jump balls or fight through double teams or ever be an elite receiver. He's a nice player, I really like him, I'm just saying some of the love went to the extreme really fast.

As I edited, you could say the same thing about Hester and Bennett. The love is a bit much, though, I agree. After seeing the plays Braylon made for the Jets, that's what's missing from the Bears offense. A big WR that can get the ball in traffic.

Yeah, I wasn't saying those other two were without flaws either. Knox is a nice player, though, just as those other guys are.

If I were Angelo, I would give a fifth rounder to the Bills so that Minnesota could get TO. Owens destroys every team he is on.

Steve Smith of Carolina can't win jump balls or fight through double teams, but he is an elite receiver. I don't think Knox will be, but I am not going to rule that possibility out yet. He has only played in four games.

Maybe Steve Smith of the Giants. Steve Smith of the Panthers, when he was really great, was awesome at catching the ball in traffic, especially for a shorter guy.

If hub would have given a point or two, it would have at least qualified as an argument. One of my biggest problems with him is that it appears obvious he feels he's above even having to justify his point of view. He's hub arkush. Giving valid reasons is for all you peons who are beneath him.

Anyway...

I sort of liked the 12:00 start time 2 weeks ago. Waiting all day for bears football kind of sucks.

Just for fun, every ESPN.com and CBSsports.com person picks the Falcons to beat the Bears. Peter King is the only one I think I've seen in the media to pick the Bears.

Even he waffled on it.

Braylon Edwards can catch?
