Wow I just saw part of the interview with Blount after the game. As if there were any doubt, he's not very bright.

There was some article i read trying to detail success of CFB offenses to returning offensive line starters or something. Oregon was a red flag team according to this article. Not that i totally bought into the article but it was interesting nonetheless. Oregon didnt do anything offensively last night.

Man, IU is awful. Glad I went to that garbage. They have a nice group wideouts at least. Also, probably t-minus 11 games for the Bill Lynch era/error.

5 new starters on the OL, that article was completely spot on. Oregon will be a bigger disappointment than Cal this year.

If he just threw the punch I might say give him a couple games. But then he punched his own teammate, was trying to get after the fans and required about 8 different people to get him under control.

Thats a little more harsh than I was thinking. I was going with something like a 4 game suspension for a senior with a chance of going to the NFL. I wonder if he has had any other problems with the team before that?

He previously had an indefinite suspension for not following team rules and was kicked out of a practice this training camp because he was out of control. There very likely was more but that's just what was mentioned last night.

 

This wasn't just a momentary slip. He jacked his own teammate who was trying to calm him down and went altogether bazerk for 10 minutes.

I agree. If it was a one time deal I would say suspend him for the rest of non-conference but he is a repeat offender. The punch was really bad though. Full out blindside punch that dropped the guy.

Yeah, given his history, this is appropriate. The ESPN gurus were saying this guy was a potential 2nd-3rd round pick. Hope he's making the most of his education.

i guess he still maintains his scholarship, which is why they're saying he wasn't kicked off the team. i think kicked off the team means no scholarship too.
