But, really, what a horrible game to watch. Both teams looked terribly sluggish (i.e. dropped passes, botched snaps, penalties, etc)

 

Then again, the so called ESPN self-declared "offensive outburst" of Oregon and BSU is knotted up at zero at the end of one, too.

Looks like I'm in for a long college football season. Ball State has gotten thoroughly beat by North Texas and Purdue likely won't do much in Hope's first season.

Yeah but they have an easy schedule, play in the MAC and return MiQuale Lewis. I didn't expect 12-0 or even a MAC championship but I expected 8-4. It can obviously still become a reality but losing to a 1 win North Texas team isn't a good sign.

Oregon is really doing a job of demonstrating why the spread is pretty lame sometimes. If your offense is struggling it'd be nice to be able to line up in an I and hand it off to your 240 pound back. ISU with their usual not-so-convincing win in the opener. 34-17 final, but it was closer than that. At least the special teams unit is awesome. Oregon with 14 yards at half is pretty awesome as well.
