are you really comparing your reaction at work to a football field? if you tackled an employee of your competitor on the street, that probably wouldn't be accepted either.

 

His "job" (as so much as he has one in college) is to play football. Punching isn't part of the game. Taunting has been for a very, very long time.

 

But putting your hands on an opponent after the game isn't. And I'm not talking shaking hands, but the way the Boise guy did.

I am pleasantly surprised by Purdue's performance so far. It looks like Hope has reastablished the offense. Tiller got bland late in his career and it became very easy to know what Purdue was going to do. Hope has brought back the possibility of Purdue running any play at any time. We could run on first down, do a short WR screen or go deep. The last couple years its been we either run or do short slants.

the thing that annoyed me most about it was that it was some scrub back up doing the trash talking. i've played with/against those types of douchebags many times and they are the most obnoxious brand of football players.

No you idiot, going for 1 now is not the smart move. You need to get the 2 at some point. You go for it now, and know what you're up against.

 

Knowing that you need 2 scores with 6 minutes compared to playing for 1 score.

Plus if they went for 2 now and got it, they could have had the situation where going for 2 would win the game.

 

It's a moot point, though.
