I didn't get to see the game, but the Trib article said Z showed up Scales on the field for not attempting to throw someone out at home. I'm not a Z basher by any stretch, but that crap needs to stop.

Sounds about par for the course.

Par for the course from Sullivan? Agreed, cause that's definitely not what happened.

For whatever his reason(s), it seems like he doesn't want to play for the Cubs anymore, so let him go.

I have no idea why you've come to the conclusion that he doesn't want to play for the Cubs.

He just doesn't want to be told how to be a professional baseball player by anyone, Cubs or no Cubs. God I hope we shed this bum in the offseason.

He's pitching great, then he collapses. Shouldn't that be correctable? I know he's always been prone to that, but less than now. If they can just get him back to where he was before, he'll be fine.

The multiple good innings tends to make me believe we can correct the one implosion inning.

A) The first sentence is just meaningless mumbo jumbo.

B) Hoping they just shed him is stupid.

C) He's nowhere near a bum.

D) It was just an all around incredibly stupid post with absolutely no redeeming value or any semblance of intelligence or even logic.

This is anecdotal evidence. Z is no more prone to the big inning than anyone else. The fact that Zambrano gets all pissy when he does have a big inning makes people remember it.

A. Would you like me to list in order from A-Z all the unprofessional situations he has found himself in the past 6 years?

B. Oh really? Do you know exactly who we could get for him? Are you a baseball executive?

C. A personal opinion. I think he is a bum who has never led his team to anything. So you disagree. So what?

D. See A-C.

A. Yes

B. If even you can see he's a bum, why would a baseball executive not?

C. Ernie Banks is a bum.

Yes. I do. Please give me 26 unprofessional situations in the last six years.

How can a player who only plays in 20 percent of his team's games lead them anywhere?

I want one to start with each letter of the alphabet too.

Z is going to be easy, but I want to see X, that's always tough. And U is underappreciated in how difficult, wait......, Underappreciated how important it was to not be a bum.

While I don't have any statistical evidence, I think it is reasonable to say that a pitcher who maintains his composure through adversity is more likely to minimize damage in an inning than someone who loses his composure.

Z - Zany antics on the mound

A - A-hole to teammates when they make mistakes behind him

M - Massacred a Gatorade machine

B - Breaks his bats over his knee when he strikes out

R - Rude to reporters when they ask him about being traded

A - A-hole to teammates when they make mistakes behind him even more

N - No control over his arm slot or velocity when the situation gets tense

O - Oh yeah, and he also plays soccer, softball, and goes to water parks

Depends on your definition of "losing your composure" I've made the post like 10 times on this board about how somebody who loses their composure when things go against them would have an abnormally high # of unearned runs due to melting down after an error is made. Zambrano does not.

That's actually pretty impressive.

However, you used "a-hole" twice, which seems like cheating.

Bukie isn't a one a-hole kind of guy.

The second A could be "Always gets ticked off at teammates who make mistakes behind him."
