And don't forget choking on your food. Or being run over by a bus while crossing the street.

I'd really like Zambrano to get out of Chicago as soon as games are over. Too many murders.

And he should start flying Qantas.

Not a chance !! Carlos would try to pet the cute little Koala bear, and the damned thing would bite his hand off !!!

How many more years do we have to suffer through Carlos? A complete tool today again.

what happened?

Presumably the fact that he gave up 2 runs.

For his first win since July 22nd? Against the Pirates? Funny guy, you are.

Actually Z got pissed that Lou took him out. They got into a heated discussion in the dugout.

Heavens to Betsy. Theodore would never pull such shenanigans.

So, judging by your sarcastic tone you are upset that he dared to give up 2 runs.

This is who Zambrano is, none of you cared when the Cubs were winning. Now that they suck, he's a nutjob.

Fire & Passion + Wins = Good

For me it's more like as long as the Cubs are good it's tolerable, but when they aren't it's annoying. And I see no reason to apologize for that. He's a douchebag, but if he's performing well I don't care too much.

Yeah that.

I'm just sick of this entire team and need somewhere to vent this frustration. It's one thing to play badly but to act a fool while playing badly, that's just so irritating.

I think you're reaching to get mad at Zambrano for being upset at being taken out. It happens. He's committed(and will committ) far worse crimes, such that being angry about getting taken out(immediately following a game where he was pinch hit for with Aaron [expletive] Miles, only to have the pen lose the game) doesn't even register with me.

Miles pinch hit for Gregg in the 9th inning. Zambrano batted for himself 4 times.

I was talking about his last start(though was off on the details.(Fontenot pinch hit, and the Cubs were down 1-0))

"I wanted to pitch another inning but it's Lou's decision," said Zambrano, who struck out eight and gave up five hits. "You saw the replay, everybody thought I was arguing but we were just talking. Every time Lou talks it seems like he's mad, the way he moves his hands, but he's not. He's very professional."

Zambrano was sidelined recently for three weeks by back spasms, and Piniella was satisfied with his 98-pitch outing.

"Like I told him, let's get built (up), let's get you stronger and stronger," Piniella said. "That was the conversation on the mound. I told him, `Next time if you want, we won't warm anybody up and we'll let you pitch nine innings.'

For whatever it's worth. Looks pretty exaggerated to me. i'm sure the little troll Sullivan will spin it to make Zambrano look like a monster.

The thing about Z being Z is that if he were living up to his potential and being the ace that hes paid to be, then maybe it would be OK for him to be a bit of a sideshow, but hes basically pitching like a back end of the rotation guy for teh majority of this season, making his act get a lot more tired than it already has to be. Give us 18-20 wins and then you can do your thing.

Pitching like a back of the rotation guy for the majority of the season? Since May 27, he's posted a 3.40 ERA and held opposing hitters to a .682 OPS.

I didn't get to see the game, but the Trib article said Z showed up Scales on the field for not attempting to throw someone out at home. I'm not a Z basher by any stretch, but that crap needs to stop.

Sounds about par for the course.
