Season suspension, minimum. Same as the Oregon football player should have gotten.

I'd probably include the postseason too, considering how late in the season that happened.

I'm thinking "season" as in not back until the same point next season.

New Bracketology is up. Lunardi STILL has UConn in and puts ND in too, making 9 Big East teams. Somehow I doubt that's happening.

I just don't think UConn should get in. They'll probably be better than the last four in, but they're gonna be 2 games under .500 in conference, they'll probably have 14 losses (assuming they don't win the Big East Tourney), and they'll have lost twice to CINN, twice to LOU, once to freaking Providence, and to a short handed ND. They're also 2-7 on the road.

I think UConn should get shuttled out simply because last night was must-win for them, and quite frankly, they looked like crap. Granted, ND has been playing great defense without Harangody, but there's no reason UConn should have shot THAT poorly when they had a height advantage. It's almost like they checked out a little bit.

If you ask me they're probably going to lose at USF this weekend to make it a moot point.

I don't get that.

What pro athlete would get a season long suspension for throwing a punch?

In the NBA you would probably get somewhere in the 5-10 range, MLB would be about the same, the NFL would be a 1 game max (you'd probably just get kicked out of the game you were in ala Tommie Harris), and punching is institutionalized in hockey.

Morgan St. might beat New Mexico

Kurtis Townsend is hired as assistant basketball coach. Townsend's experience includes being a member of the staff at California (1993-1997) during one of the largest NCAA recruiting violation investigations in history, which landed the school on 3 years probation. He followed that up as an assistant at Michigan (1998-2001) during the greatest recruiting scandal in the history of the NCAA, which resulted in four years of major sanctions for the school. As a bonus to the Kansas basketball program, Townsend brought along with him recruit C.J. Giles, formerly committed to USC when Townsend was coaching there. However, when Townsend left USC for Miami, G.J. Giles transferred along with him to Miami. Once Townsend was fired at Miami, C.J. Giles again transferred with him, this time to Kansas.

He was also the one involved with Sherron Collins and Anthony Longstreet.

Woman aren't supposed to punch. They are supposed to smack.

Women.

Oh gee what a travesty I put an a instead of e. You still alive or should I call the paramedics?

How fat are your claws that you mistakenly type a instead of e. As a xournalist I'd think you know how to [expletive] pluralize a word.

I think we're in provided we beat Wisconsin on Sunday, too many quality wins not to get in plus, if past precedent means anything, I can recall an 18-13 or so, Arizona getting in last year.

Arizona had just as many big wins last year without the disaster losses we've had. I think we need to win 2 in a row vs. Wisconsin. Hopefully Lunardi has good info.

Illinois has been surprisingly good on the road, too, though, better than all the other bubble teams.
