according to cubs.com the announcement was to come at 8:00 a.m. today....haven't found anything yet.

PS - I know it's offtopic, but they also said a Peavy trade was picking up steam. Can you imagine Santo getting the call the same day as we possibly get Peavy?

I believe Morgan went on record last year saying that Santo belongs in the Hall.
