Trying to decide whether it's worth my time to follow the rest of this turd.

 

Bad baseball is one thing. But handing games to the opposition is not really worth my time.

The Cubs have as many pitchers left as pinch-hitters. The bench is not an issue today. I'm thankful for the 13 man staff today (although it's pretty silly)..otherwise the game would be done a lot sooner than all those pinch-hitters could be used.

I've got no problem with them booing a pitcher who has sucked for a month and gave up a 5 run lead in the 9th.

I wish they were booing Lou, but they probably weren't.

I would have pulled Marmol after they got within 3, but its hard to blame Lou for the dumb play Theriot made. Game might be over otherwise.

I don't see what other reason there could be. Pitchers don't go from that amazing to that horrible like a switch was flipped and stay horrible for a month. Something's wrong.

I blame Marmol. I blame lou for not taking marmol out. i don't blame theriot. He was desparate, and he saw that marmol was sucking. It was not a good decision, but I understand it.
