Gaudin, Cotts, and Howry's Pitch Counts/IP make me wanna throw up. We were up by 7 runs when Gaudin pitched and 5 when Cotts and Howry pitched. Let them freakin pitch.

Ryan Theriot is not a shortstop.

I don't care how much he hits, he's HORRIBLE defensively, and has cost us alot of runs this year.

untrue.

Yes it is. He has horrible range, a horrible arm, and has made numerous poor decisions in the field.

he's a little below average. i guess if you want to ignore all the fielding metrics and say that he's horrible at everything, that's your prerogative.

In his 8 no decisions this year (counting this one), Harden has given up an average of 1.75 earned runs.

That's sad.

What's sad is that W-L is still an officially recorded statistic.

It'll never go away, but it really should.

His offense has been great, but if one tried to make the case that Ryan is anything better than a mediocre defender at SS, they wouldn't have a leg to stand on.

I feel your pain, but think rationally about this one for a second.

I have on numerous occasions, when I was calm and clear minded. And I came to the same conclusion. The man is not even an average defensive SS. I was even saying the same thing earlier in this thread when it was still 7-0.

I wanted and still want Joe Girardi as manager.

That would be a nightmare of epic proportions. Lou to a dump yesterday that could manage better than Joe.

Burning your relievers' arms > burning your starters' arms

I don't Your going to get angry with decisions every manager makes but what has Girardi done in New York so far? I mean his payroll couldn't be much higher could it and they are in 3rd place....

Yes, because we all know how reliable and accurate fielding metrics are.
