This guy's an All Star? How did that happen?

He leads the NL in saves if only because the Giants offense is so bad that any game they actually have a chance to win is usually a < 3 run game

Ryan Theriot is not a shortstop.

I don't care how much he hits, he's HORRIBLE defensively, and has cost us alot of runs this year.

untrue.

Yes it is. He has horrible range, a horrible arm, and has made numerous poor decisions in the field.

he's a little below average. i guess if you want to ignore all the fielding metrics and say that he's horrible at everything, that's your prerogative.

Yes, because we all know how reliable and accurate fielding metrics are.

generally they're more reliable and accurate than someone losing his mind after a poor play.

Steve Phillips: "The Cubs wouldn't trade their bullpen for another one in the majors"

not true.

Ive always been surprised why so many people praise our bullpen. We've had to put up with a lot of crap from our BP in some games.

So has every other team that's been assembled for every year in the history of baseball.

I don't think I could handle watching this thing on TV right now, so I guess from that standpoint I'm thankful.

What a stupid day this is. I'm definitely going to get drunk tonight.

Looks like ARam won't get a shot this inning unless Lee reaches and Theriot doesn't score

There's only 1 out....?

They'll IBB Ramirez is what he's saying.

Okay, since you didn't seem to see me reference it earlier, I said the very same thing a couple of hours ago, and on numerous occasions not following a poor play.

This is not me having a knee jerk reaction, sorry.

I think he will surely be INT walked after what happened yesterday if 1st is open.
