Wow, switch Theriot and Cedeno's spots in the field and this lineup is perfect. Well, I wouldn't mind Soriano and Theriot switching spots either. I like this.

I'm so glad to see Ramirez back. I've been waiting for them to discover the hairline fracture of the hamate bone all week.

I am assuming the staff would be cautious regarding ARam, but you never know. A hairline fracture could still be found.

Annoying things i heard from last nights Reds broadcast. Walsh pissed me off way more than Thom.

Walsh talked about the Cubs league leading runs and somewhat implies the feast or famine principle. Doesnt back it up with any statistical number suggesting the Cubs are more feast or famine than any other team. Thom says at the end, I wish we all had problems like the Cubs offense. That shut Walsh the f up.

40-40. Walsh says something like did those 4 guys teams make the playoffs. hed prefer guys who get on when it counts and drive in runs bla bla. Thom tries to go through the data to see if these guys did make the playoffs, in the end he just says hey it just shows you they are great athletes. Walsh is a blabber mouth at times. He appeared to be critical of the Cubs too often during the broadcast, that was pissing me off.

I don't have any insight to how Ramirez's wrist feels, I just hope they aren't bringing him back too soon. DeRosa makes for a good enough late inning substitution coinciding with his day off though.

By my count, this is the 2nd time that Pie and Cedeno have both started.

EDIT: The other time both of them started was the last game of the Met series. Both went 2 for 5, Cedeno doubled and homered.

Wow, I'm surprised to see Aramis back so soon. I doubt the Cubs would rush a guy that important in May.

C'mon now. You are talking about a team that has switched their rotation around and skipped starters about 3 times in April.

Best lineup of the year.

Enjoy it. Don't expect to ever see this lineup again.

Lou is trigger happy but I don't think they'd risk injury to their cleanup hitter.
