Never face him + lefty = doom

Oh, this is a different Cubs team you say?

Not looking incompetent tomorrow will help me believe a little more.

It's only April and we've faced mostly crap teams (Although sweeping the Mets = awesome), but this Cubs team is so fun. I feel bad for being critical of them before the season. It's just too bad that I always work during the games. I'm running my cellphone minutes up like crazy getting updates on the game on Verizon's Gameday.

The Cubs are 4-4 against teams that would without a doubt be considered contenders (Milwaukee, Philadelphia, NY Mets), and 10-2 against everybody else. That's a recipe for 100 wins.

I'll be there tomorrow night in LF wearing my Aram jersey.

Welcome to Wrigley of the Rockies. Unfortunately, I think the Rocks doubled the prices of their tickets after the run last year. I think my left field ticket cost me $20 more this year. After the second game, Rocks fans stopped attending...nice. Expect to see just as many Cubs fans as Rocks fans, and stop by the Sports Column by Coors Field for $2 Old Styles pre-game if you're in town.

The Rocks pitchers blow. Last year was an abberation, although their offense is very potent, especially at Coors. Hopefully Hill has the curve ball working in the thin air tomorrow night. Morales has scary talent but has shown tendencies to be wild. If the Cubs plate appearances mirror what they've done so far this year and Morales isn't on, we should be able to put a lot of runs on the board.

Might be time to throw a question mark or two after our team name in the thread title as in "Are these REALLY the Cubs?" :-k Edited by bcruise

Welcome to Wrigley of the Rockies.

A couple years ago, I decided:

Wrigley East: PNC

Wrigley West: Coors

Wrigley South: Turner

Wrigley North: Miller

The GAB needs its own place on that map at some point, I'm working on the theory.

Just imagine if we could've put this kind of offense on the field when we had, er, *that* pitching staff in tact.

Exactly. This would normally be an impossible matchup for the Cubs. However, if the Cubs continue to be patient, they can win this game. Morales has 11 walks in 15 innings. Still gonna be a tough matchup. Hill has not done well at Coors. And doesn't figure to shutdown the Rockies tonight.

Just win, losers.

The Cubs are going for win #10,000, and it's on CSN+? I protest.

So.... go down to the local sports bar and watch it on their EI package !!

1. What local sports bar?

2. I'm 19.

Go to Hooters.

There isn't a Hooters around here either.

GAB is Wrigley Middle East, PNC is Wrigley Far East.
