Is it safe to say, that without cubs games, that wgn is one of the worst channels on television?

 

Yes, yes it is

 

I think even channels like Lifetime, Ovation, the freaking Oprah network (whatever it's called), and all the religious channels are more interesting than WGN outside of the Cubs.

 

At least those channels don't pretend to be good channels. And if you are talking about oxygen, then you obviously are not familiar with the Bad Girls Club. That is some high class comedy.

 

Never seen it. But I'd be more inclined to tune to that than any of the warmed over junk WGN likes to call "programming."

 

What's truly funny is that WGN can't offload Cub games fast enough to other networks. FOR WHAT? What is this great programming that should displace nationally televised Cub baseball?

 

It's the single worst-run TV network. I don't think it's even close. Public Access TV is better.

The actors name is Eric Violette. He hasn't been in anything.

That only happened because the Pirates are terrible. I guarantee you if we're facing an average or better team we lose those first two and probably lose tonight. But, a win is a win and I'll take them any way we can get them.

ESPN has it listed as Marquis with Z going on Saturday and Lilly on Sunday but Cubs.com has Z going tomorrow followed by Lilly and Marquis. Normally I would trust Cubs.com but people were talking in the beginning of this thread about Marquis pitching today and switching spots with Hill. So if anyone can clear this up, that would be great.

 

And FWIW, the Associated Press has it listed as either Zambrano or Marquis.

Cubs.com is right. It was confirmed by Len and Bob at the beginning of the game.
