roberts is a huge upgrade at 2B. He is the 5th rated 2B in baseball & is an all-star. DeRosa has only been a fulltime starting 2B for a couple yrs & is nowhere near the top 20 in mlb. DeRosa would more than likely start at SS over theriot if we get roberts. Soriano at leadoff got us swept in the playoffs. Piniella wants him moved down in the order.

It means there's no deal at all. I don't know why people keep pushing this thing further than it really is. It's laughable to think that the Orioles get to "decide which pitchers they want" in any deal, as if the other team has no say. This isn't the produce section at the local supermarket. See, I took that to mean they were given a list of guys to choose from and they would be deciding from that, kind of like what happens with a PTBNL.

why are you bashing on Smammy Sosa because he always gave it his all and never failed to give 100% in all of his playing time for the Chicago Cubs and for the rest of his career in major league baseball.
