I think they both agreed to play the next 2 games at Camarohead for money reasons. Originally it was supposed to be played early in the season, too, but both programs wanted the game played on "rivalry weekend."

 

The Arrowhead thing was all about money, though. Could cost us a shot at the Big XII title, which sucks.

Was it both? I heard it was just KU's AD moving this year's game for some extra ca$h.

 

It's worth noting that I was going to go home Saturday night, but I don't want to miss this game. Therefore I am hanging around until Sunday afternoon. I'm excited to watch.

No, it was a joint effort, next year's game is definitely at Arrowhead too. Columbia business owners(Lawrence too, if they actually exist) were not pleased about the decision.

I considered going to Mizzou for school and I'm still bitter towards Self and co. when they beat us in the Sweet 16 last year. Yet I'm still going to root for Kansas in this game because of a guy named Mark Mangino. What a man.

I'd definitely say Pittsburgh 2004 was more unqualified. Maybe slightly better wins for that Pittsburgh team (although they didn't have any great wins) but Pittsburgh was also 8-3 and had to go to OT to beat Furman that year. Including the Utah bowl game, Pitt played the 66th hardest schedule in the nation and still had 4 losses!

 

Plus a couple statistics that I know you value, they won 4 of their games by only a field goal and a 5th game by only 5. Plus, their Sagarin far right rating was 75th after the bowl game. 75th in the predictor and still in the BCS!

You do realize that posting a picture of jesse james and saying "eat lead jayhawkers" is part of a joke in a gag thread which YOU started. Where is your derision for those that posted the gag shirts showing the sacking of lawrence where 200+ people were murdered or where are your sardonic comments directed at the poster of the John Brown shirt, a man who literally chopped innocent people up with swords in front of their families? This is supposed to be a funny thread, but instead you turn into an accusation that i support slavery.
