It wouldn't be the final minute of a close Bulls game this season without Gordon passing up two open guys to take a terrible off-balance shot near the end of the shot clock.

Ah, lovely. Ben Wallace is in the game with 6 seconds left and the Bulls have the ball. Good call there.

Maybe he can break the goose egg and give the Bulls the lead.

EDIT: And yet his point (yes, point) is the game winner. Of course, he nearly blew that on a very obvious foul on the final shot.

For a minute yahoo had the game as a final with a 93-93 score.

That non-call evened out with that terrible "foul" call that sent Miller to the line late in the game. Miller went up to shoot the ball and he lost the ball, yet - I think it was Tyrus - was whistled for a foul.

Nice to finally win a close game. We haven't done much of that this year.

There were definitely some terrible calls, although the Bulls probably got away with murder twice on the last possession if Duhon did get Miller before the buzzer went off.

I just don't know how much more I can take of seeing Ben Wallace in the game in those situations. There's no reason for it.

At least it wasn't the Lakers.

12 points in the 4th quarter. Wow.

What do you expect when Ben Wallace and Tyrus Thomas are on the floor at the same time while NY has Marbury and Crawford. Boylan is in over his head. Ben Wallace cant leave Chicago soon enough. This guy quit on Scott Skiles, then has say in Skiles job, and then suddenly has a double digit rebounds in every game since Skiles left.

Big game tonight - Lakers at Hornets. It would be really nice to get another big win over a quality team on the road.

Lakers 109, Hornets 80. Huge win especially considering the Lakers played yesterday as well.

Chris Paul was 13-23 for 32 points but the rest of the Hornets were a combined 18-61.

Bulls got their asses kicked today by Atlanta. Please just lose every game from here on out.

Also apparently Noah and Ron Adams(assistant coach) got in a pretty heated argument Thurs in practice. Boylan put Noah on the inactive list for Fridays game, and that was supposed to be the end of it. However the team took a vote and voted unanimously for Noah to be put on the inactive list for todays game as well. Seems as if Noah may be rubbing some of the other guys the wrong way, what a surprise.

The Pistons are currently losing 75-44 with 10:09 left in the fourth quarter... TO THE NEW YORK KNICKS. How is this possible?

Andrew Bynum went down with a sprained left knee but had to be helped off the court. X-Rays were negative but there will be an MRI tomorrow. I really hope he's not out for a significant amount of time for the sole fact that I don't know if I can handle Kwame Brown playing more minutes.

One can only imagine how that conversation went.

The unanimous vote by the players, though, would seem to indicate Noah was pretty much out of line and everyone knew it.

Like it matters anyway. This team is a trainwreck, it's hard to even watch them now. What a complete disaster.

The sooner Noah is out of Chicago, the better. I can't stand that man. Back in June, I didn't understand why we drafted him and I still have no answer for why we did.

I have full confidence that this team will make the playoffs as a 7 seed and proceed to get either swept, or lose in 5. Please spare me that and just get a lottery pick.

The Bulls are a mess right now. It's pretty sad when the Cubs are the Chicago team with the most optimism right now. Actually, the Blackhawks may give them a run for their money.

I'd say there is more optimism for the Bears as well..maybe the White Sox. When you are stuck in mediocrity in the NBA there isn't much you can do...its very hard to add a superstar via FA, and outside the draft lottery..best bet for the Bulls is to blow up this team, and rebuild(with a GM that has a clue)

and FWIW, rumor is Arenas will opt out this summer...

also according to Dan Bernstein of the Score..the Bulls are fed up with Tyrus THomas, and he is as good as gone by the trade deadline and they really don't care what they get back.
