And they were playing the Knicks, Deng not playing is not an excuse. This team is done for the year. Just tank this season and get one of the studs in the draft, this team is going nowhere.

No one liked Hinrich's bricks he shot up with under 3 minutes to go in the game? This guy is the definition of anti-clutch. He is terrible when the pressure is on. Yet he still continues to jack up shots that have no business of being shot in the first place.

 

Another sub-80 point effort for the Bulls. This offense is a joke. I know Deng's not in there, but something needs to change.

I wouldn't hate him so much if he didn't get off so easy in Chicago. Pretty much no one in the media is going after him, and from what I read on various MB's, most poeple still love the guy too.

Its not just in the clutch that Kirk sucks in. The guy has had a free ride his entire time in Chicago, and hes average at best(below average this year). The Bulls had 27 points at halftime! Like you said Deng not playing is no excuse. Skiles and Paxson have prided themselves in a deep bench, so they should be able to overcome Deng not playing, especially against the New York Knicks.

My Cavs have been playing good basketball lately. LeBron is playing absolutely lights out, and he's getting a ton of support offensively. It's good to see. However, we're losing games on the defensive side of the ball, which is crazy seeing as it was our strong point last year. Missing Andy hurts as far as that goes. And Hughes.

I read into the 3rd paragraph, where it became apparent he was going to use the lame-ass "Bulls always start slow" argument. Yes, they always start slow. And guess what? It always costs them seeding at the end of the year, too. Last year it pretty much cost us a trip to the Conference Finals, possibly even the Finals. This is a non-argument that shouldn't be used at all.

 

I did skim further, and to his credit he does say later on that the Bulls have a long way to go and he's not discounting that they might not come back at all.

 

I really just want to know when someone is going to drop the axe on this thing and start making big changes. Because it needs to be done.

The staring slow thing just dosnt work this year. In years past when they have started slow they were getting beat by buzzer beaters and single digits. This year this team has had their asses handed to them on a nightly basis. This team lacks energy, and honestly looks like they have quit on Skiles. This is far far far different than years past.

Agreed. Best case scenario what is the upside for this team this year? 40 wins? Maybe conference semi finals at BEST? This roster has no shot whatsoever the NBA title and to me that is unacceptable. The goal should be win it all. You need a superstar to do that. Maybe watching Jordan and Co during the 90's spoiled me, but sorry, those are my expectations.

Id assume Hansborough(meh) would come out but honestly if they Bulls are in the top 5 and all the freshman come out they should take the best player available.They can then use any of Deng, GOrdon, Thomas, Hinrich, to get the big man they need.
