Tennessee? Okay...

Gotta love a top 10 with Boston College, South Florida, South Carolina, and Oregon. Mizzou is 11, Illinois is 18. Florida State, Auburn, Tennessee sneak back in. Florida barely moved after a loss. Kentucky dropped 9 spots. Wisconsin dropped 14.

USC drops 8 spots for losing to Stanford at home, Wisconsin drops 14 for losing to Illinois on the road.

Now, I don't think Wisconsin's very good and haven't all year, but what the eff is that.

Kind of doesn't jive with Illinois jumping to #18. Tells you that voters have been waiting for a reason to drop wisconsin all season. I don't see why Floriday would drop at all - no logic to them dropping really.

It's called, voters wanted to vote them down all year but couldn't find the excuse to do it because they kept winning, however ugly.

Too many other 1 loss teams should be ahead of them now. There's still plenty of adjustment that needs to be made before the first computer polls come out.

The South Carolina discrepancy persists. They were 18 and 11 last week, now they're 7 and 12.

UCLA still got 2 votes this week for some reason. Purdue remained ranked, Tennessee remained unranked,

...is UConn seriously getting votes in a college football poll? Crazy.

Congrats to Tedford and Cal. That's how you run a program, and he had fewer resources when he came aboard than Dorrell has. I hope Guerrero is paying attention.

I was automatically expecting a loss at UCLA, but right now, I wouldn't be surprised to see ASU lose only at Oregon.

After Washington at home next week, we do face the Pac-10 gauntlet of Cal, UCLA, Oregon and USC right in a row. Oregone and UCLA on the road thank god.

Zook said Juice could have returned. Didn't hear anything on Benn. I think the Illinois pass defense could be better but the numbers look worse than they are because Illinois has been forcing teams to throw all the time. They give up some yardage but they have also gotten picks.

Apparently Benns injury is to the same shoulder he hurt earlier in the year. I havent heard anything regarding his status for the Hawkeyes. Only thing I seen was Zook saying Benn is going to have to stop stiff arming people.

Will Florida please go to the back of the bus with the other 2 lose teams. College FB is about what have you done lately. Florida has lost 2 in a row. Back to the end of the poll please

so basically those sagarin ratings are worthless, huh?

uconn has beaten NOBODY and was a blown call away from losing to temple... stop voting for them morans

Worth very little until all the games are "connected", meaning that every team can be linked to every other team through games. Until then the predictive values are partially based on last year's information.

Of course, considering that, I'm surprised Illinois is as high as it is.

That rating looks like a basketball poll with Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Cincinnati, etc.

Except Illinois wont sniff the basketball poll this year or anytime soon if Weber doesnt change something.

And Missouri hasn't sniffed a basketball poll since Quin first started sniffing cocaine.
