And the latest in the Terrell Owens-Bill Parcells "Fight For Power" in Dallas has another twist.

Terrell Owens won't be in any hurry to get off the bicycle this time.

Like he did for most practices during training camp in Oxnard, Calif., Owens rode a stationary bicycle Wednesday when the Dallas Cowboys held their first workout at home. The receiver said he reaggravated his left hamstring injury by returning to practice too soon last week.

I, for one, don't believe a word of this.[/url]

what has he done in the past to make you think he would lie about having an injury. If you remember his superbowl performance playing with an injury.

I knew he was a wimp the day he alligator armed a pass across the middle when Mike Brown and Urlacher wanted to kill him. I've never trusted his heart since. I think he's exactly the kind of guy, and in exactly the kind of situation, where he would lie about an injury in the preseason to avoid the work. Ditching practice isn't the same as skipping the Super Bowl. He thought he could get a huge raise with a big Super Bowl game. Financially, these practices don't do him any good.

DeAngelo returned a kickoff for a TD last night. I'm getting very excited about this kid.

The blocking was excellent on that return. Pretty sweet to watch. DeAngelo made one cut (If I remember correctly) and took it to the house. He's faster than I thought.

That was short.

Man, Dan Wilkinson has been a beast in two preseason games. The Dolphins' defense looked much stronger last night--the new DBs seem to fit the system pretty well, and are adjusting quickly (with the exception of the ol' holdout Jason Allen, who looks behind quite a bit). If Brown had had a better night running the ball and the red zone offense had been more effective, I'd be very pleased with last night's performance. Still more work to do.

Well stated.

I'm really excited about the Cowboys defense this year. The first team has only allowed a FG in three pre-season games and overall Dallas has only given up 17 points.

My only concern is that Dallas plays in a very tough division and they will need to be on top of their game each and every week.

The Drew Hensen experiment has ended in Dallas.

And let that be a lesson to all you kids out there. If you have a chance to be a 1st round QB, don't pass it up for some MLB dream that might never come true.

Take the sport that will let you get paid, and get paid now. I hope Drew has had a chance to plan his life after sports. Coming out of college, I'll bet there wasn't a soul on the planet who would have said he would be out of professional sports in his 20's.

He still made lots of money overall, no?

Still has some to make, depending on how he wants to be paid. He can be paid a lump sum of about 2.5 million, not sure on the exact amount or he can elect to be paid yearly between now and 2011 and the sum will be over 3 million.

The Saints traded Donte Stallworth to the Eagles for Mark Simoneau and a conditional fourth round pick which will be a third if the Eagles can sign Stallworth to an extension.

Link.

Vance, you are now the 2nd best WR in Louisiana. Drew Brees has to be hating this move.

I actually like this move for both clubs. The Saints are deep at one position and that is WR, and they desparately need help stopping the run...well and the pass for that matter. The D is lacking. Stallworth had slipped to #3 on the depth chart per my understanding behind Horn and Devry Henderson. I follow the Saints (proximity) and the Colts (father's family lives in Indianapolis); I believe this to be a positive for the Saints.

I would have been cool with the Bears picking up Stallworth. Berrian seems to have another nagging injury. Bradley is coming off a serious injury. Davis and Moose have had too many drops in the preseason. Stallworth would have been nice, but Branch or Porter would be even better.

I don't really like this deal for the Saints, but think it's great for the Eagles. The Saints don't have that much quality depth at receiver, Joe Horn, Devery Henderson and Mike Haas are their only quality receivers and Haas has never played a professional snap. Donte' is only 25 and had the best season of his career last season. Plus, he's been healthy only twice in his career, the last two seasons. He's starting to show the potential he had coming out of Tennessee and could easily be the #1 receiver the Eagles desperately need. Finally, Simoneau's really nothing but a so-so player who's a slight upgrade, if at all. Great deal for the Eagles, they're gonna be much better now with Donte' Stallworth and Reggie Brown as #'s 1 and 2.

Woohoo. Titans just signed an older version of our current starting quarterback, Kerry Collins. Can't say I understand this move at all, let Billy Volek play till we're out of it and then put in Vince. I can't figure how Collins will help this year.

At least you didn't sign Jeff George like the Raiders just did :D

George might've been better, he'd have been so bad we would have only played him in a couple games then we'd have been forced to bench him. Collins might be decent enough to last the season, while we don't develop Vince.

It could come down to Jeff George and Kerry Collins in the battle for the #1 pick. Of course, Volek and Brooks is just as epic a battle. Jets fans, I didn't forget about you either. Your general talent sucks too.

Personally, I want to see Quinn in New York. Please suck a lot, Jets.
