And the first Bartman mention.

When the telecast started I told my roommate that the over/under on a Bartman reference was 10 minutes. I took under and I won.

It's disgusting. I don't think ESPN can have a Cubs game without mentioning it.

I think it was during the Cardinals-Cubs Sunday Night Game a ball was fouled off near the seats and sure enough Morgan mentioned Bartman virtually immediately.

BTW, I also called the Cabrera home run to my roommate. And I think I'm going to Vegas right now.

Speaking of Vegas, I heard on the radio, the Marlins are the biggest longshot in all of baseball tonight. Let's not make this a big payday!

That wasn't that bad of a pitch to Caberra.

Sometimes you have to tip your cap.

Does anyone think the WBC has affected Z? I don't have any opinon, just asking.

he left it over the middle of the plate. it was not a good pitch, at all.

It was in the zone but low and away, nowhere near the middle of the plate.

Wasn't even that bad of a pitch.

5 HRs already.

I'm less worried about those HR than I am about the 18 BB.

It was out over the plate, but it was down. I've seen Z get away with a lot worse.

Sutcliffe talking about how the Cubs are lucky not to be playing Willis tonight, clearly unaware of our luck against young pitchers.

His HRs allowed have increased over the past several years, though. 9 in 2003, 14 in 2004, and 21 in 2005. His G/F ratio has decreased over that time, too. 2.28 in 2003, 1.64 in 2004, 1.62 in 2005.

Z buckles down and throws another filthy strikeout pitch. He looks to have good stuff if he can stop walking people.

At least the pitch to Cabrera was at the bottom of the zone, just a great hitter hitting a good pitch.

It's not the homer that's inexcusable. It's the walk to UGGLA that is.

Make them hit their way onto base but don't give out free passes.

The real problem was the walk. Cabrera is a legit hitter so, yes, tip your hat to him but he can't exacerbate the situation by walking batters.
