Based on your current height and weight (totally ignoring your physical abilities, age, fitness level, etc.) what position could you play at the professional baseball level? I'm sitting at 6'2", 245 lbs so I'm going to sign up to be a starting pitcher. Poll is forthcoming.

I am and have been since 9th grade around 6'3 190-200. Plus i'm left-handed. I've played first base every year I played baseball since I was 6, except one year when I played RF.

Mark me down for 1st.

I can't hit and am not a great fielder but i can throw the ball pretty well, so, since I am also pretty big and don't have a lot of stamina, I am a relief pitcher. I do have a pretty nasty curve.

Haha, this could turn into fun.

Just to note, I've noted my lack of athletic skill in the OMC girl troubles thread, so that is why I chose to manage. :)

I'm pretty scrawny. I'm 5'11", and if I push 150, it means I've put on weight. So I put bat boy. BUT - I can't hit, and I can't field, and I can't pitch to a slightly lesser degree. When I'm on, I've got a decent splitter, curve, and circle change, so if it were up to me, I'd be a starting pitcher. But, I'd probably be injured all the time. Which makes me pretty much the same as Mark Prior and Kerry Wood, right?

I'm 5'10'' 155-160. I played short and center into high school. I've got awesome reflexes and am pretty fast, so something in the middle infield is about all I could play since I don't have an outfield arm.

But that's in my fantasy world. In real life I'd probably get embarassed by little leaguers these days.

6'2" 210 lbs. All or nothing power hitter, below average arm. Compares to Rob Deer.

I'll take left field, haha.

My Scouting Report

In the field: Sherwood is about 5'10, 150lbs. and projects as a 2B. He has played SS and 2B all his life, but seen as he has a torn labrum, he's going to have to play some 2B, and might need a little help when trying to turn two, but he never had much of an arm anyway. He has some pretty good range and isn't afraid to take one off the chest to keep it in front of him. He is also very sneaky, and once convinced a player to return to first after stealing a base because there was a "foul ball."

At the plate: A perfect 8 hitter (NL) Sherwood has never had any power and is purely a singles hitter. He usually makes contact(beating the ball into the ground), although late in his career he decided he wanted to walk more, which resulted in several backwards K's. He has pretty good plate discipline and is a decent bunter.

On the bases: Sherwood has good speed and is a smart baserunner. Probably his best asset. Has a history as a pinch runner as well when he cannot play the field.

5'7", 160 lbs. I'm speedy, good on defense, an average hitter with a good eye. I played CF in HS. Sorry but I'm going to have to bump you, Is_Pedro_There.

You'll have to earn the spot, little man. I'm an OPS machine and a master with the glove!

I know it isn't an option, but I'll throw my hat in for play-by-play TV guy!

And if Hoops doesn't get GM, it will be a travesty and an injustice.

I'm 6'4" 235lbs and left-handed. I can play OF, 1B, and P but I put down SP because that seems to be the least taken. Besides which, pitchers are the most athletic players on the field :D
