Wuertz warming up in the pen.

Hey, I have an idea. Let's wait until the most difficult situation of the year and bring Wuertz in for the 1st time.

Okay, Joe. We KNOW he wasn't going to run haphazardly around the infield, and that instead he needed to prevent the run from scoring. Why are you still talking about it?

Out of the inning, but Fatty is still pitching for the ReCards.

ReCards?

Replace the C with a T, and you got your answer.

Thanks Dusty.

What'd Dusty do? Wuertz had Encarnancion, and he almost had Pujols.

At the very least, I would have liked to have seen Marshall clean up his own mess since he had a better chance at a groundball and also since Wuertz hasn't seen action in a long time.

Wuertz is just a bad choice here.

Dusty didn't throw Marshall to the wolves. He could have been rocked with the heart of the order due up, bases juiced.

the heart of the order does not include Juan Encarnacion

Should have left the kid in there to finish the inning. What a moron.

Sorry not buying that. Say Marshall remains in the game and gives up the long ball? Then it's "stupid Baker why leave the rookie in the game?"

The manager is damned either way. He leaves the starter in too long or pulls them too soon? It's all so subjective. Nobody has a crystal ball.
