I like all the powder blue jerseys (Cards, Phils, Brewers, Expos).

My favorite Cubs away jersey was either the '80s one, with the Blue top and the white pants, with the Cubs logo on the left breast that said Cubs, not just the C, or the gray one with the red stripe under Chicago. And bring back the pullovers, I don't like the buttons.

and the red white and blue snap belt, snazzy!

I didn't think the Brewers deserved more then one thread, so I decided to post this here:

Brewers GM Doug Melvin said "there's about an 80 percent chance that [Lyle] Overbay will" still be with the team on Opening Day.

"There is interest in him, but it's not at the level I feel I could do something to help the club," Melvin said. Perhaps that will change after Paul Konerko signs. If Overbay stays, Melvin said Prince Fielder will go to Triple-A for the first half of the season and the Brewers will revisit the situation in July. Nov. 27 - 3:32 am et

In my opinion, the games I saw Fielder play, seems more than ready for the bigs. However, Overbay's a very nive player so I understand why they don't want to get rid of him.

As we saw this past season, the Brewers are clearly an up and coming team. Their entire lineup is set with the exception of Fielder/Overbay at 1B. Personally, I think its a no-brainer, trade Overbay for very solid pitcher. The Brewers can and will contend either in '06 or '07.

How can so many people like the blue shirts? :?

Especially when they wear them with pinstripes on the bottom it just looks akward. If they insist on wearing them, they should at least change the pants to just plain white. I would like to see them done away with completely at home. Road I don't mind as much, but still would prefer the grays to them.

My thoughts exactly!

The 82-89 Cub uni's were the best. It just so happens that those years I was ages 5-13 -- the years I learned to love baseball.

as for the "Carry on Brewers" comment.

Remember that Bud Selig was nothing but a nuisance to Milwaukee baseball in the 90s. Every single thing he did was horrible for the club and the fans. NOBODY wanted the new logos/uniforms in 1994 and that's why they changed them so many times throughout the decade. Bottom line is, Wisconsin baseball fans wanted their Brewers back... finally they've got them back.

This is a Sunday jersey, but I guarantee that it will become the Brewers main home uniform by mid-summer.

Of course, I didn't notice the Brewers until the early part of this decade when throwbacks became popular.

Ummm...I really never noticed the Expos logo.

I never really saw the "M" in that one. I still don't really think it looks much like an M.

Oh, wait. I kinda see it. Sorta.

Me neither.

The multiple colors threw me off, I always thought it looked like elb, but that doesn't make any sense.

I thought the same thing for the longest time.

I knew it was supposed to be an M, but I refused to believe it. I hated that logo.

There's a B in it too which is supposed to stand for something. I read that somewhere a long time ago and can't remember what it was.

It stands for Montreal Expos Baseball.

For the longest time, I thought the Expos logo read "elb". I remember thinking "What does 'elb' mean and what does it have to do with Montreal baseball? Must be a french thing...."
