It would've been, hands down, the biggest fight between the two best fighters since the Leonard/Hearns/Hagler/Duran era. The winner goes down as a top 5-10 greatest pound-for-pound of all time. I don't see what's sad about that. You put this fight 30+ years ago and you've got literally half the country following it. I still think this fight happens somehow. Maybe I'm just stubborn. I agree. I really thought that when Pac accused Mayweather of ducking him, that Floyd would take the bait. Floyd has spent his entire welterweight career ducking the best available competition. The fact that he's making excuses to avoid Pacquiao and Mosley should be a surprise to no one.

Mayweather has never faced a southpaw as fast and explosive as Pacquiao. Zab Judah gave him trouble in the early rounds. His shoulder roll defense won't work when he's taking punches from all angles. This fight will be easier than the Cotto fight.
