One batter too late, Tony..

After walking Henry ****ing Blanco, it is inexcusable to keep Morris in.

When Jose Macias is up next, keeping him in isnt such a bad idea.

in all honesty, jose macias has earned his paychecks this year.

Not really. You see how much we are paying him?

what is it? a million? he's been slappin' singles all over the place. we've had worse 25th men.

everyone plz speculate what jon miller said during the break to make joe say "too much information. " i bet he was talking about his hemmoroids.

Time for a confession during the pitching change.

Jose Macias doesn't bug me that much. Really. It bugs me the way Dusty Baker uses him. And I wish he'd take a pitch every now and then. But he's been all right.

agreed

I would pitch around Blanco to face Macias in a double play situation anyday.

Some of you guys are just jerks--I am not trying to be argumentative, but come on--Jose Macias is nearly hitting .300 as a sub and you still think he has not done anything--NOT FAIR!!!!!

Damn dudes (& ladies).

That was just a nice, nice piece of hitting from the Gremlin. That is *exactly* what to do in that situation.

Get a hit?

Well yeah, get a hit 8)

I was referring to taking it back up the middle rather than trying to swing for the fences or trying to do too much.

Macias is 2nd most likely to DP on the Cubs, so I would to.

You can't really blame Macias for Hendry giving him a roster spot or Dusty mis-using him. He been a good 25th player for the Cubs this year.

i agree. hes a decent enough bench player, but really should be only that. its hard for me to blame him for dusty's faults.

That's true. The .306 OBP with an average of .293 tells me the guy never takes a walk, which limits his effectiveness.

3 walks. THREE. Zero power. I'm pumped he came through, but he's terrible. Only 4 bench players that aren't catchers have been worse than him this year.

Macias in for Ramirez now??

I know, I know... I should be strung up for that, but man... we'd might be up 5-2 right now if not for that bonehead decision of his in the top of the 6th.
