The 2016 Cubs got home runs from two pitchers in the playoffs and David Ross hit a home run to dead center off of one of the best relievers in the league.

TBF, those pitchers had shown more power in their career that Sal Frelick.  David Ross had CTE and just aimed for the ball in the middle.  Thank God the Indians used Andrew Miller so much his arm was hanging by a thread.

I put money on the Brewers to win the WS when they went up 2-0 on the Dodgers.  Wish I had done it much, much earlier.  It's their year.

Best loss of the year. That was the game our opponent poked the bear.

I was at a Halloween party in Ohio and the game was on and it was just all doom and gloom for me. Cubs were looking like crap, going down 3-1, it felt like we had blown it

This team is ridiculous.  How many balls can they hit that miss a glove by an inch or are fair by a millimeter?

They put the ball in play.  That's a big part of it.  But somehow good things ALWAYS happen.

I mean, taking Peralta out was a risk.

Have we started to see in these playoffs where maybe teams have finally gone too far with the bullpen usage?  Or is that just me wishing it to be true?

Prediction time. Cardinals will win the 2036 World Series. Pirates 2046. Cubs 2056.

You know it makes sense.

I still recall making a joke on the old PSD forum that we won’t lose another game down 3-1.

Then when Aroldis blew it in Game 7, I thought I will show the Cubs and exclaimed “I don’t care if we lose…”

Good times!
