I know home runs are part of the game, but I would really like to know. When was the last time the Cubs had a game where they did not give up a home run? I’m trying to think back to a game. They had a shut out in, but it seems like every game, literally at least one or two reach the bleachers.

Seiya is incredible.  He's earned an extension.

Was going to counter this as I assumed Happ would have made up the offensive gap on the defensive side, and then I realized fangraphs has seiya with more defensive value than Happ this year, somehow

His defensive improvements this year, combined with durability, are what seal it for me.  Resigning him has to be a priority.  I don't mind Happ coming back too.

Last Sunday. Before that I’m guessing one of Ben Browns starts.

On yesterday's broadcast, they mentioned that PCA has more walks this season than in 2024 and 2025 combined.  Incredible stuff.  I'm grateful PCA loves being a Cub because if he was in the AL he'd run away with the next 3 MVPs
