No Joe Ryan because the Twins are lining him up for Cleveland and no Buxton because he's hurt.  Even with Rea going tonight should be a very winnable series.

I heard Woodford re-signed with the Cubs, and he's supposed to pitch in Iowa.

On paper the Cubs caught a huge break because they aren’t getting Skubal in the Tigers series as well . They will get Melton however and I haven’t checked the under the hood stuff on him , but era looks good

It was already likely but now more or less official Cubs will miss Arson Judge in a few weeks as well

Pat Murphy cryptic about Brandon Woodruff injury. Wouldn't disclose the specifics, is letting Brandon address the media when he wants to. That sounds definitely like a season ender, and possibly worse.

The way this season has gone. They will lose 9 of 13 then sweep both the Yankees and Dodgers
