Nice PCA...

Ill never understand why runners look behind them going to 3rd instead of the coach.

🤷

I can’t even look behind me when I am walking without losing my balance.

Mo swings at a lot of outside changeups and gets himself out

Typical of high-swing, high-contact rookies. Sadly, the only way to get better is to get through this. They have to learn "just because I can hit it doesn't mean I should".

They twist their whole body to find the ball, if there was any chance to go home theyre losing at least 2-3 steps doing that

You have to fire the hitting coach since ownership doesn't have the balls to fire Hoyer or Counsell. There's just no excuse for this offense to be this horsefeathers awful

Oh, oh, Maton.  I have a bad feeling about this.

At least, I didn't need to see Shota/Carson combo.

Nice job by Shota,  glad he pitched well

Shota gave up only one hard hit, and a lot of whiffs.  He didn't look particularly sharp, but the result was great.

We all know that the Cubs have had their misses with high profile free agent relievers over the years but Phil Maton is a cut above. I can’t recall him having a quality appearance this season.

Well, Pressly was just like Maton.  Maybe, Maton is slightly worse.

I don’t think the umpire should have let Conforto challenge that pitch. He took longer than 2 seconds, more like 4.
