Hes thrown just 2 4-seams all night and one of them was on Pete's triple. The book on the Cubs is so obvious.

Shota gave up only one hard hit, and a lot of whiffs.  He didn't look particularly sharp, but the result was great.

We all know that the Cubs have had their misses with high profile free agent relievers over the years but Phil Maton is a cut above. I can’t recall him having a quality appearance this season.

I don’t think the umpire should have let Conforto challenge that pitch. He took longer than 2 seconds, more like 4.
