I reckon the players and coaches were getting it from all sides from the fans when they were collecting their horsefeathers and making their way into the clubhouse. There were more looks into the crowd then is typical at the end of the game and then Kevin Alcantara stopped and had a good listen.

The Cubs had 2 chances tonight to bring a runner home from 3rd with less than 2 outs.  They failed both times and lost by 1 in extra innings.

I'm not a Dregman protector, but I can't blame him for this loss.  What about the guy before him?  He just happened to be the last guy.  That said, I don't like those guys, including Bregman, Seiya and Dansby not hitting with RISP.

Get what you can for any of Shota, Boyd, Seiya, Kelly and Happ and seriously consider replacing Hoyer and Counsel. This is entirely unacceptable.

Happ has a NTC, Seiya is having his worst season and is a FA after the year. Kelly is an aging catcher, Shota gave up 2 HRs while I was typing this post, Boyd has been hurt multiple times this year. I mean sure if they can be traded for anything sure, but I highly doubt you get much for any of them.
