Stacey went a little over the top at times, but he was really a great color analyst. Even when the Bulls were bad, he was a reason to tune in and made a great pairing with Adam Amin and Neil Funk. RIP!

This makes me so sad. I would have actually watched a few Bulls games the last couple years if I knew his time was limited.  I was really hoping he’d get the chance to call another good Bulls team. It won’t be the same without him.

I remember his first year it was a little rocky at first (IMO) and thought he was trying too hard to act passionate. Then I realized it wasn’t an act, that dude was enthusiastic as hell about the Bulls and he kept that enthusiasm whether they were 62-20 or 20-62.

Man, I got to meet him at a Windy City Bulls game back in February.  What a good dude RIP.

Going to get some hot sauce in his honor

This is terrible news. I enjoyed the short lived Derrick Rose era at least 20% more because of Stacey's calls.

It could be argued that Stacey was the only member of the Bulls organization giving full effort the last 10 years.

Going to miss him.

Some didn't like his schtick. I loved it. It was passionate. You could hear the love he had for the Bulls. I don't know how he kept up that level of passion given the fact the organization was constantly a letdown. Bang, Bang, Bang! RIP Stacy!
