Nice comeback win yesterday to temper a pretty disappointing start to the season. But hey, the Phillies are in largely the same boat as the Cubs.

I'm curious how much of this is Sanchez being a particular tough on lefties matchup and how much of this is a softening of the "Michael Busch is going to play every day" pre-season plan

I think Busch will still play a lot against lefties. But right now while working thru a terrible slump I am fine with them giving him the day. Plus, Kelly is pretty good.

Being that he sat yesterday too against a RHP, and how he talked about his swing, I think this might have been a "get yourself right" two-days for him scheduled. His swing speed has been really low, and I wonder if he's just got a bit of a mechanical thing they wanted to work on together and not have him out there.

The offense comes down to the 4 guys on top, obviously Hoerner doing his part,  they need the other 3 to start contributing more often.

The fact that they're being so specific with their ETAs rather than annoyingly vague is a good sign IMO

It’s really hard to hide PCA in the lineup against lefties right now. Just a brutal AB in an important spot

All he had to horsefeathers do is just make some contact, with the opponents worrying about his speed, they probably score a run.

It seems like every single time with bases loaded or 1st and 3rd with fewer than 2 outs, this lineup panics and start swinging at everything.

They might need to consider bringing Alcantara up at some point, Kingery is basically a waste right now, theyre starting Kelly at first over him
