I think we're gonna be seeing Amaya there as well.

Love Kelly at 1B. More please.

Definite choice to see Kelly there.  Long at DH and Mo behind the plate. Could easily have been otherwise. I like Kelly and Amaya spelling Busch. Gets back the roster spot you lose by having a dedicated DH. The potential of Amaya, Kelly and Shaw all in the lineup sitting Mo and Busch is huge.

Ben Brown 👀

Solid pitching line. Any word on velo and if he was using a 3rd pitch?

I understand hoarding depth, it's the right thing to do, but I can't overstate how much I'd rather have Brown in the rotation than Taillon.

Ben was impressive.  He pitched a few changups, too.  His 4 seams and sinkers were 96 ~ 98mph.

I love Jamo, but right now, Ben looks much better.  He should be in the rotation.

AZ is weird, let's see how bad Jamo looks in the season.  Given injury frequency, if Brown keeps looking good we'll see him in the rotation eventually anyways.

My guess is Jamo will be just like Jamo.  I think he'll pitch fine.  But, you're right about the injury.  Any of Ben, Assad or Rea could be in the rotation, eventually.  Jeez, we got a lot of SPs, which is great.

Super-Bold prediction: Matt Shaw is your everyday left fielder by June.

Super weird prediction and really hope that doesn’t happen.

I'm only following on Gameday but it looks like Rojas was taken out for an injury.

"Unclear what the issue was" makes me hope it's minor.  I assume he was walking around gingerly after the leap and they took him out for precaution.

Thats a really bad outcome for an organization that is expecting to be a playoff team.

It's wish-casting from a Happ hater

Nope. Love Happ. He is consistently above average to not-quite-special. The kind of very good role player every team needs.. I just think his age 31 season will show a significant drop off. I'm not all sure of this, and in fact, think it is unlikely that there's enough drop off that he's benched. That's why it's a "super-bold" prediction.

Not if you have 3 cy-young candidate starting pitchers, and a ROY DH!

You gotta be the most optimistic person alive if you think either of those things are remotely possible.

Seiya may have just left the Japan game injured. Bad slide into 2nd, was limping off the field

I love Seiya but yeesh he is not graceful

Thankfully that didn't look like anything that should be long term.
